Happy 1st Thanksgiving, Lila and Brendan!

Since we started a new tradition of deep frying our turkeys together I think we also started a new tradition of breakfast with Meg, Tim and the twins while the men do the deep frying. It was great to see the Lawrence Family before the Thanksgiving festivities got underway and we had waffles with strawberries and whipped cream! Yummy!

Lizzie love laying under the baby gym and chatting with Lila!

The Turkey Fryers! Watch those eyebrows!

Lila and Brendan all dressed up for Thanksgiving!

I love those huge eyes!

I believe these outfits were from Auntie X - we miss her!

The 4 girls all dressed in their beautiful pink dresses!

Kissing on Lila!

Look at all those gorgeous smiles!

Molly loves holding Lila like this!

And, of course, Miss Lila putting on a smile show for Auntie!

Annie and Lila - Lila looks like she doesn't quite know what to make of things!

Story time with Annie!

Meg stopped at Auntie Leenie and Uncle Pete's later in the day and everyone could not wait to be around the babies! We have so much to be Thankful for this year!

Abby holding Lila!

When I think of last New Year's Eve and all of the warnings the doctor's were giving Meg about a twin pregnancy it truly reminds me of the gifts that we have all been given this year. Meghan being healthy and fit during her pregnancy, being able to work and do everything while carrying the twins was kind of amazing in itself. The twins being born at 38 weeks, weighing in at healthy weights and needing no time in the NICU - it is a miracle! The fact that they are happy, engaging babies with parents who love for them to be around family and do everything to allow people the time to get closer to them - well, that's just icing on the cake!
Happy 1st Thanksgiving, Lila and Brendan! We are so thankful for you!

Just another photo shoot!

As you know by now - both babies are rolling from their tummies to their backs and thinking they are awesome! Lila rolls over and then stays completely still until you put her back on her tummy and Brendan just rolls over because he hates being on his tummy at all! I'm hoping to get some video of Brendan rolling over but in the mean time these are just some black and white pictures of the babies that I took one day last week. We'll call it their 13 week photo updates!

Lila's Big Day!

Lila rolled over for the very first time yesterday! Our big girl is growing up!
Yeah, Lila! I suspect that Brendan will not be far behind - he does not like to be left behind by his big sister!

3 months old

This is a picture that I found of the twins with the twins. I wasn't going to upload it to the blog because the quality isn't as good as I usually get but I love the picture!
The twins are 3 months old and doing great. The transition has been a rough one with Meg going back to work nights and Tim working days. Meg has a wonderful work schedule - unless, of course, you have newborn twins at home! She is always exhausted and just when she manages to catch up on her sleep - the whole schedule starts again. KK helps out after she gets out of school and the rest of the aunties and uncles pitch in where they can but Meg and Tim are looking really tired lately. Grammy is amazing - she comes a few nights a week and stays overnight while Meg is at work to help Tim care for the twins through the night. Then she gets up and goes to work the next day! Everyone is thrilled to get some bonding time with the twins and Lila is defintely making a move toward sleepign through the night. Hopefully over the next month it will get much easier.
The babies don't have a doctor's appointment this month but Meg weighed them on the baby scale and Brendan was over 14 pounds and Lila was over 11 pounds. They still nurse every 2-3 hours but are trying to go a little longer in between. At night they either get breastmilk that Meg has pumped or a formula supplement and they do great with whatever Tim gives them.
Last night they had their 1st overnight with Grandma and the auntie and uncles at 23 Iron Gate Lane. Judging from the pictures they had a blast!

Good Morning, Brendan!

Good Morning, Lila!

I had to get these pictures off of Facebook so the quality is not so good! Sorry about that!
Happy 3 month Birthday, Lila and Brendan! We love you!
