Silly January pictures!

Lizzie is obsessed with Cookie Monster and Sesame Street thanks to Meghan so she LOVED when the babies showed up in their SS outfits! Just another reason for this auntie to take alot of pictures!

Brendan LOVES his first biter biscuit - 1/24/11

He did get frustrated when he dropped it because he could not figure out how to get it in his hand and to his mouth again - it is going to take some practice but our little man is pretty passionate about his food so it shouldn't take long to perfect!

Miss Lila sporting her Elmo outfit - so cute!

Lizzie and Lila - Lizzie was attached to Lila, or as she called her - Elmo, for the entire day!

Kisses!

Brendan and Lila loving their new outfits!

Brendan and Lila slept over and this was 1st thing in the morning on Saturday - Brendan had flushed cheeks and was SO excited to see all the kids! It was a great weekend!

Drooly boy - thinking there are some teeth coming soon!

Annie loving Brendan!

When the babies get to our house the kids all play a game called "Who can get the closest to the babies?" It is fun only for my kids but the babies are getting used to it and learning to play along! This is Lila discovering Peter's nappy hair! Love it!
More to come soon - this is to tide everyone over!

January 17, 2011

Meghan is going to start looking for a different job because the nights at work and days sleeping (or not sleeping!) are getting really difficult. I have to admit that I would miss having the babies if I suddenly wasn't needed anymore - I love any time I get with them - but we all want what is best for the Lawrence Family and more time together is defintely best! That being said - Lila and Brendan are getting sweeter every day. They both smile and coo at anyone who gives them attention. They are gentle babies who bring happiness to everyone who knows them. I love to watch Meghan and Tim with the babies - especially when they forget there are other people around. Despite the difficulties of two working parents, being newly married and raising twin babies Meg and Tim are having fun and loving their life together - that is obvious from being with them. Meg is an amazing mother - everyday I feel blessed to watch her with the babies. She is nurturing and loving even when the babies are fussy or cranky. Meg's eyes light up when she is with the babies - even if she is dead tired from work. And Tim is as transparent as they come - not only loving watching his babies grow but watching Meg mother them. I often look over at Tim and find him watching Meghan instead of the babies. It is wonderful to be a part of this family and to be allowed a front row seat to watch them grow! These babies are surrounded by love and blessings and they deserve every minute of it!

Old Pictures on my camera!

So I haven't updated this blog myself in a while, and I decided today was just as good as any to start!  I found a couple pictures on my digital camera that I thought were worth posting.

This is what the twins do every time we put them together to play.  It kind of looks like they're making out but they just want to be as close to each other as possible!
Auntie KK brought over a cake for the twins' 5 month birthday.  She's brought one almost every month!
Brendan already loves cake!  Lila's a little less interested.
Brendan is very mobile these days, rolling around like crazy, though he doesn't show much interest in crawling.  I think he's going to just stand up and walk one day!

Daddy's favorite time of the day is tubby time! I think he likes the one on one attention and the twins love their tubbies.  They smile and laugh and it's so much fun to play with them.

This is the position you can find Lila and Daddy in most nights.  She is definitely Daddy's little girl!

Auntie KK got the twins a Bumbo seat and this was the first time Brendan tried it out.  He was a little confused by it at first but is a little older now and loves to sit in it and play with his toys!

That's all I have for now!  The babies are doing great, very healthy and growing every day.  It is hard to believe that they are already 5 months, I feel like I was just pregnant!  Tim and I are thankful every day for our little miracles and it's great to experience all of their firsts with them.  We are one very blessed family!
