Newport 2011

Lila and Brendan experienced their first ever Newport vacation this week! They got quality time with Grammy, auntie and uncles and lots and lots of cousin! I won't add too many captions - I'll leave that to Meg but needless to say we loved every minute with the babies in Newport and more than one person was heard muttering, "What did we ever do before Lila and Brendan?"

A few big things happened while we were in Newport!

1. Brendan took his 1st steps to Grammy!

2. Brendan took his 2nd steps to Tyler!

3. Poor Brendan had his 1st ear infection and pink eye and had to go to the doctor!

4. Lila is got a top tooth!

5. Lila and Brendan both realized that they LOVE to swim!

Grammy was never found without a twin in her arms the entire week! She only shared when one of them was crying or needed a diaper change!

I hope Meg has time to take a few minutes to write about her first Newport with the twins! She and Tim glowed the whole week. Meg loved watching everyone enjoy the babies and she and Tim got a few "dates" without the babies as well as some much needed family time! Every time I talked to Meg she was bubbling with excitement and so content to have her little family cocooned within her big family! I was remembering that last year at this time we came home from Newport at 11 p.m. and Meg was waiting on our doorstep to see the kids - her belly was huge and she was ready for the babies to be born! And now we can't imagine life before the twins!
