Soon Meg will take over the blog and show off the babies herself but for right now there are lots of people waiting for updates on the babies so Meg gave me permission to post more pictures. Meg is doing amazingly well - so well, in fact, that I think many of us forget the ordeal she went through to get these two beautiful creatures here safely! Meg is nursing the babies around the clock, keeping track of all of the important info like when they eat, pee, poop and what the pediatrician tells her and graciously sharing the twins with everyone - she is incredible! She makes it look so easy that I tend to forget the exhaustion she must feel most of the time!
The babies love to snuggle together and if one is crying it usually means that they miss the other twin!

I went to the hospital this morning so that Tim could get some stuff done but when I got there I wished I could sneak back out the door. Meg and Tim were beaming - giggling over the babies and each other! I couldn't leave so I took some pictures of the little family! They are so beautiful!

I am not at the hospital for all of the visitors so these are just the pictures that I am able to capture. I am hoping to get some from others so that Meg and Tim have a complete record of the first few days of Lila and Brendan's life! If I get more I will try to post as quickly as possible but for now this is it! Everyday the babies get sweeter, more beautiful and are more loved by all of us!
